Microcement

Rennovate without Rebuilding.

Microcement allows you to create a seamless overlay for any surface. It has become the preferred finish for clients looking for an alternative floor, wall or joinery look. With microcement you can achieve the look of concrete but without the hassle, cost or depth needed for laying concrete. Microcement only requires a minimal depth to apply and therefore is incredibly versatile. Due to it’s nature microcement can also be applied straight over any existing finish. For example it can be applied over bathroom tiles without any need to rip all the tiles out. This means your bathroom renovation can be much faster and you can save with no need for demolition. Our clients love microcement’s versatility, aesthetic and durability. We work with top microcement products like X-Bond, Rockcote, and Cementart, and our team of artisans install the product by hand, as it cannot be purchased over the counter.

Finishes

We seal our microcement products to match the environment they are going to be in. There’s is an additional special sealant for external applications or wet areas like bathrooms. All of our microcement products are hand trowelled and so natural colour variations and visible trowel marks are part of the natural characteristic of the microcement application. Below we’ve included some colour samples from one of the leading microcement products we work with called X-Bond.

X-Bond Micro

X-Bond Micro is hand trowelled at 2-3mm thick over an existing substrate and then sanded for a smooth, monolithic design. The finish has visible trowel marks creating texture, tonal and colour variation.

X-Bond Blade

X-Bond Blade is for external applications only. The X-Bond is applied with a blade which creates texture to achieve a high slip rating.

X-Bond Mineral Finish

If you’re after a highly textured wall finish, or an anti-slip floor, X-Bond Mineral Finish is for you. X-Bond is sprayed onto the existing surface with a spray gun creating a splattered look.
