What Is X-Bond

X-Bond is a water based, cementitious overlay system which combines stone and liquid polymer. X-Bond is hand applied at 2-3mm thick to floors, walls and joinery.

Finishes

There are four different X-Bond ranges. X-Bond is sealed with a surface mounting sealer called ‘Satin Stone’ and for external applications or wet areas X-Bond is sealed with a penetrating sealer called ‘Natural Shield’. X-Bond is the combination of colour pigments within the microcement screed. As X-Bond is a hand trowelled product, natural colour variations and visible trowel marks are a natural characteristic of the X-Bond finish which may not be apparent in colour samples provided .

X-Bond Micro

X-Bond Micro is hand trowelled at 2-3mm thick over an existing substrate and then sanded for a smooth, monolithic design. The finish has visible trowel marks creating texture, tonal and colour variation.

X-Bond Mineral Finish

If you’re after a highly textured wall finish, or an anti-slip floor, X-Bond Mineral Finish is for you. X-Bond is sprayed onto the existing surface with a spray gun creating a splattered look.

X-Bond Natural Concrete

The perfect finish for your feature wall, each X-Bond Natural Concrete finish is unique. The X-Bond is first sprayed onto the wall and a trowel is passed over the X-Bond to create smooth and textured areas throughout.
